ETNA WHITE FROM SICILY

Volcano grown crispy fresh wine from south Italy
SUNNY WHITES FROM THE SCILIO WINERY IN SICILY:

On the slopes of the Mt. Etna volcano in Sicily, southern Italy, the Scilio family grows grapes since 1815 in the Galfina Valley. In these territories, the favourable characteristics of volcanic soils and cool mild climates allow to create the highest quality wines. They use organic farming methods to grow the special grape varieties used for Etna DOC wines and only here they get their distinctive taste.

Valle Galfina Etna Bianco:

The Valle Galfina white is made with 100% Carricante grapes, which you'll find only in Sicily. The minerality of the volcanic soil and the long sunshine gives it a delicate fruity fragrance, a persistent dry taste, and it is fresh and well balanced. It pairs great with fish, white meats, fresh cheeses and as an aperitif. Try a bottle for 250 HKD.

1815 Etna Bianco:

A flagship white from 65 years old vines at over 600 m altitude, this wine blends 80% Carricante grapes with 20% Catarratto grapes, also a specific Sicily varietal. It is delicate, intense, rich, with hints of orange blossom and Etna broom. Dry, fresh, well balanced, and pleasantly acid, long and persistent with flavours of white pulp fruit. Try this signature wine for 480 HKD.
